Nataša Krčo

Nataša joined the AI Security and Privacy Lab to start her PhD in October 2023. Her research interests are broadly in the field of responsible AI, including explainability, algorithmic fairness, and privacy-preserving machine learning.

Nataša obtained her bachelor degree in Computer Science at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia, after which she pursued a MSc degree at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. During her time at EPFL, she worked on research in Explainable AI methods applied to educational data at the ML4ED lab. She also researched algorithmic fairness during an internship at AXA in Paris, in collaboration with the Trustworthy and Responsible AI Lab (TRAIL) at Sorbonne University. In her final semester, she completed her MSc thesis, jointly supervised by the Digital Lab at Swisscom and the Signal Processing Lab at EPFL, working on studying concept drift through explainability methods.
